PTC/USER 2022 - Call for Abstracts
YES you heard correctly, PTC/USER is planning for a LIVE event in Orlando in MARCH of 2022! The event will include tracks around various PTC product offerings (CAD, PLM, Retail, Manufacturing, AR, IoT, Arbortext, etc.), an Exhibit Hall, the fan favorite PTC UX Lab, as well as a new PTC supplied Training Day.
The Call for Abstracts will open soon. Selected speakers will be given complimentary registration to the event, so we encourage everyone to start thinking about what story you can share from your work experience this past year.
We look forward to seeing everyone again!

The PTC/USER Sheetmetal Technical Committee covers sheet metal modeling, primarily in Creo Parametric. Topics covered include walls, flat patterns, bend features, and other similar functionality. PTC and the Sheetmetal TC are starting a Working Group for Sheetmetal projects in Creo 9.0, with the current plan that includes the completion of the full multi-body support.
PTC/USER Technical Committees consist of customers like you who work together with PTC Product Managers talking about how the products work today and what can be done to make them even better. Joining a Technical Committee is a great way to have your voice heard and network with your peers in industry.
We welcome new members! Please apply for PTC/USER Sheetmetal Technical Committee or any other TC that may interest you via the PTC/USER portal.
This working group is to collaborate with PTC on the development of Sheetmetal projects during the Creo 9.0 development cycle. During the discussion, PTC will work with the group to discuss use cases, define requirements, review specification and implementation.
- The biggest focus area relating to planned development projects is planned to be "Multibody" Support in Creo Sheetmetal
- In addition the working group will also discuss other/related Sheetmetal use cases and identify product enhancement opportunities for those
Participants should be experienced Creo Parametric users that are currently dealing with work arounds for these use cases. Participants should also be willing to provide example models and additional documentation to illustrate their use cases and requirements.
The group will provide feedback during implementation and verify that the targeted use cases have been addressed.
Deliverables:
Use cases descriptions that can be leveraged to improve the capability in the software focused around the Creo 9.0 project. The group will produce a document with use case descriptions and related requirements, provide example models, provide feedback during implementation and verify that the targeted use cases have been addressed and detail out gaps that still exist.

On May 27, 2021, you will no longer be able to access Vuforia Expert Capture procedures using Vuforia View on mobile devices and tablets.
After this date, instead of seeing your procedures in Vuforia View, you'll be directed to download Vuforia Vantage from your device’s app store. Once downloaded, you'll be able to access your procedures from Vuforia Vantage. If you're using HoloLens or RealWear devices, you will continue using Vuforia View.
We encourage you to download Vuforia Vantage in the coming weeks to avoid any disruption to your work. If you don't have permission to download apps to your mobile device or tablet, you may need to reach out to your IT department.
